Gannagaro

The Seneca, one of 5 Iroquois nations in New York State, lived at Gannagaro located near Victor, NY. The tribe lived and thrived there until it was attacked and destroyed by the French in July 1687. The events of that time have remained a mystery until Robert Dean, archaeologist for the Seneca Nation, began excavating the site in an attempt to find out what really happened.
