With his very personal take on the continent, and extraordinary encounters, this series asks the question: just as the last 30 years transformed Asia, does the future belong to Africa?
- #101 airs 1/21 at 5 p.m. – Ade Adepitan embarks on the first leg of his journey, starting in West Africa. Ade travels from Cape Verde to Senegal and the Ivory Coast, before finishing in Nigeria, the country of his birth.
- #102 airs 1/22 at 5 p.m. –The second of Ade Adepitan’s four-part journey around Africa takes him across central Africa, from the coast of Gabon, through the Democratic Republic of Congo, and on to Uganda.
- #103 airs 1/23 at 5 p.m. – Ade begins this part of his journey in Tanzania, in the Selous Game Reserve. He is on the lookout for elephants but numbers in this park have fallen by 90 percent over the last few decades. He then travels on through to Ethiopia and on to war-torn Somalia.
- #104 airs 1/24 at 5 p.m. – The final leg of Ade Adepitan’s epic tour of Africa sees him travelling from the beaches of Mozambique, through South Africa, before ending his entire trip in Zimbabwe.
