The New York State Educational Media Technology Association (EMTA) offers an annual grant for educators who want to incorporate media literacy into their teaching. The goal of the grant is to provide funds (an award of $1,250) for research projects or demonstration projects that promote media literacy and can be replicated in other areas across the state and nation.
Applications are due on or before May 11, 2018. A committee will select the recipients by June 14th, and projects are to be completed between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. For more information and grant application, see the EMTA website at: www.edmediatech.org
